WHY SALFORD STORM?

Founded in 2019 from the parks around Salford. Mike Knox and Chris Hughes founded Salford Storm's first grass roots junior team. Since then the club has gone on to support around 400 junior footballers across 30 teams.

We are a non-profit club run by over 30 volunteers. We are proud to sport a home ground at Stott Lane next to Salford Royal Hospital. We have various training facilities around Salford.

We're an inclusive grassroots football club open to juniors aged 4 to 14. Our mission is to inspire players to reach their full potential and break through any preconceptions or barriers in their way.

GETTING STARTED

We're passionate about giving everyone a chance to be involved in football. We're incredibly proud of our holding group that gives children of all abilities the chance to get into football. For more experienced players looking to join a new club, please get in touch and we'll see if there are any team spaces at the relevant age.

HOLDING GROUP

A fun, engaging 1 hour session held every Sunday for children aged 4-14. A heavy focus on development and progression and preparing players for a team.
